It's Hamza Essahbaoui
Background
I secured 1st place in my high school for the Baccalaureate exam in Morocco (Physics Science), then studied Computer Science at ESTC (Higher School of Technology of Casablanca).
Eventually dropped out to focus on my ventures - not because I was failing, but because I was already shipping products and building a business while the system was still teaching theory.
Most of what I know came from building and shipping, not from classrooms.
The Journey
I started on the internet selling social media accounts. Then I became "the app guy" in my circle: someone needed an app for something? I'd find them the perfect free solution. That turned into growing Facebook communities and building brands from scratch, which I'd eventually sell.
From there, I transitioned into writing and design, translating ideas into brands and selling them. But I wanted to build, not just recommend. So I learned to code and started shipping mobile apps.
+1M users have used my apps.
Started with Android, dove deep into marketing and growth hacking for mobile apps, then expanded to iOS and web apps (SaaS). Along the way, I picked up what worked and systematized it.
Now
Founding Ess X LLC, where I help people research, build, and market mobile apps that actually make money.
These days, I'm focused on building internal and intelligence tools while my team handles app development. I'm also getting my hands on some apps for fun or if necessary.
What Drives Me
Beyond building, I'm a lifelong learner driven by curiosity. Currently diving into neuroscience and evolutionary psychology. I love exploring systems thinking, philosophy, ethics, and human nature... anything that helps me understand how things work.
I believe the traditional education system is fundamentally broken. It doesn't match how humans actually learn. That's why I'm building something here. Based on actual understanding and challenges rather than memorization and meaningless grades.
My best days involve building something during the day and having intellectual conversations at night.
